Students in our academy will have the opportunity to join Skills USA to develop and showcase their communication skills with an opportunity to compete at the State and National levels. In the Communications Academy, students can learn the latest versions of the Adobe Suite and Auto Desk Software, develop programming skills using the latest technology, gain experience in a classroom media studio and participate in field based experiences that will set them apart from their peers as they explore their next steps after high school.

High School Academies offer specialized curricula and courses and are aligned to specific career pathways.

Rising ninth grade students who are unable to obtain academies or concentrations in their regularly assigned school, may apply to another school within RSS in order to enroll in a program of study or academy not offered at their school. Transfers into high school academies for rising ninth graders will be granted on a space available basis, with students in the academy's host school given first opportunity for enrollment in the academy.
